Homaira became the president and CEO of SkyBitz in October 2007 and successfully sold the company to Telular Corporation in February 2012. Under their leadership, the company had record performance despite the challenging economic environment in 2008-2009.
Homaira Akbari received an MBA with Distinction from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, where they specialized in strategy and finance. Homaira also holds a Doctorate of Experimental Particle Physics with Honors from Tufts University and Fermi National Laboratory.
