Connor L. has a diverse work experience in the cybersecurity industry. Connor has held various roles in community engagement, collaboration, and member engagement for different cybersecurity organizations, including CyberRisk Alliance, Cybersecurity Collaborative, and Cybersecurity Collaboration Forum. Connor has also been a member of InfraGard, a collaborative effort between the FBI and the private sector to protect critical infrastructures. In addition, Connor has served as an advisory council member for the Customer Experience Program at the University of Richmond and The George Washington University School of Business. Prior to their involvement in the cybersecurity field, Connor was the Head of Instructor Recruiting at Cybrary, where they managed global technical recruiting efforts and designed content production pipelines for cybersecurity, IT, and data science learning programs. Connor also has experience in business development, government contracting, and technical recruiting at BeecherMadden. Furthermore, Connor founded and served as the President of the Security Studies Research Group, an organization aimed at preparing students for careers in security and defense industries. Earlier in their career, they interned at Siemens Government Technologies, where they recruited cleared professionals and developed a talent acquisition program proposal.

Connor L. has a diverse education history. From 2015 to 2017, they attended Valley Forge Military Academy & College, where they pursued a degree in Justice and Security Studies & Cyber Security with a focus on National & International Security Studies. In 2021, they completed a Master Certificate in Enterprise Cybersecurity Leadership at the Professional Development Academy. Additionally, from 2016 to 2019, they studied International Relations, Security Studies, Global Development, and History at Richmond, The American International University in London. Connor has also obtained multiple certifications, including Incident Response Lifecycle, Physical Penetration Testing, Privacy Program Management, CISO Competency - Leadership, CISO Competency - Risk, CISO Competency - Threats, Online Reconnaissance, Social Engineering, Advanced Cyber Threat Intelligence, Ethical Leadership, Intro to Cyber Threat Intelligence, Introduction to General Data Protections, Open Source Intelligence, and Risk Management Framework from Cybrary. Furthermore, they hold certifications in Level One Archery Instructor, Muzzleloading Instructor, Range Safety Officer, Rifle Instructor, Shooting Sports Director from various institutions such as USA Archery, the National Rifle Association, and the Boy Scouts of America.
