Dov Lerner

Dov Lerner has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and intelligence. Dov currently works at Cybersixgill as the Security Research Team Lead and was previously a Cyber Intelligence Researcher. Prior to that, they worked at Check Point Software Technologies as a Threat Intelligence Analyst, where they played a significant role in analyzing and diagnosing security issues and contributed to the design of a machine learning-based security product. Dov also worked as a Business Development Manager at CyGov - Intelligent Cyber Security, a Community Manager at Cycurity Vision Ltd, and as an Officer and Team Lead at Israel Defense Intelligence and IDF Planning Directorate - Foreign Liaison Division respectively.

Dov Lerner has a BA in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, which they obtained from 2006 to 2009. Dov then pursued an MA in Security Studies from Tel Aviv University from 2014 to 2016. In 2018, they obtained a degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. In 2022, they attended See-Security: Cyber & Information Security College for a degree in Penetration Testing. Additionally, Dov Lerner has obtained certifications in (ISC)2 Security CISSP (ISC2-CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2019 and CISM from ISACA in 2018.
