Dalip Mahal

Dalip Mahal has extensive work experience in the field of identity and access management (IAM) and project management. Dalip has worked with various companies such as Identity And Access Solutions, Accelerated Development, Simeio Solutions, Telus, PC Connection, InTouch Technology, Way Systems, PayCash, iConverse, and Semaphore.

In their current role as the Program/Project Delivery Leader at Identity And Access Solutions since 2022, Dalip is responsible for overseeing program and project delivery.

Prior to this, Dalip worked as a Principal Consultant at Accelerated Development from 2011 to the present. In this role, they provided project management, management consulting, and business analysis services in the IAM and financial industry to private companies in Canada and the USA. Dalip has expertise in IAM with identity governance, access, certifications, and privileged account management.

From 2017 to 2021, Dalip served as a Senior Project Manager at Simeio Solutions, where they provided engagement and project management services in the public and private sector for Oracle, IBM, Ping, ForgeRock, and Sailpoint. Dalip implemented IAM projects, including OAuth 2.0 flows, and managed project teams distributed globally.

During their time at Telus from 2014 to 2016, Dalip worked as an Engagement Manager.

Dalip also worked as a Project Manager (contract) at PC Connection in 2011-2012, overseeing a re-engineering project of large enterprise applications.

Dalip's experience also includes roles such as COO at InTouch Technology in 2008-2009, Director of Product Management at Way Systems from 2005 to 2008, and Senior Project Manager at PayCash from 2002 to 2005.

In addition, they worked as the Director of Product Management at iConverse in 2000-2001 and as part of the Professional Services team at Semaphore from 1997 to 1999. In these roles, they were involved in product strategy, project management, and mentoring teams.

Dalip Mahal completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing from Concordia University from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1992, they pursued a M.Sc in Computer Science from McGill University. Dalip also earned a Bachelor's degree in Joint Honours Mathematics and Computer Science from McGill University from 1984 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, Dalip Mahal has acquired various certifications, including ones in project scheduling, change management, negotiation, strategic planning, risk management strategy, coaching skills, and web security. Dalip has also achieved fluency in Spanish and Italian through self-guided learning programs such as Duolingo.
