Christian Appel

Christian Appel has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Christian most recently served as the VP E-Commerce at CYBEX starting in October 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Director Digital at Willy Bogner GmbH & Co. KGaA from March 2017 to May 2019.

From 2011 to 2016, Christian held various roles at HOLY FASHION GROUP, including Director E-Business and Head of E-Business. Before that, they were the Head of Marketing and E-Business at ratioform Verpackungen GmbH from 2008 to 2011, where they were also a member of the executive management responsible for strategic and operative planning and management.

Christian's early career included working as a freelance Consultant in Internet Business Design from 2004 to 2007, as well as managerial positions in Marketing and International Sales at Matador GmbH from 2003 to 2004. Christian was also a Co-Founder, Project Lead Internet Development, and CEO at Powderhausen AG from 1998 to 2002, where they developed and marketed an information service and communication platform related to snowboarding and tourism.

Throughout their career, Christian has received several accolades and awards, such as the "Catalog of the Year 2011" and the "Online Shop of the Year" in the B2B category. Christian has demonstrated expertise in e-commerce, digital marketing, and strategic planning.

Christian Appel attended Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences from 1995 to 2000. During this time, they pursued a degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen and successfully completed their studies, earning a Diplom in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen (FH).
