Margherita Fais

Margherita Fais is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in sales operations, customer relations, and scientific research. Currently serving as a Specialist in Sales Operation and previously as an Assistant in Customer Relations at CYBEX since June 2019, Margherita also contributes as a Kursleiterin at Volkshochschule, Bayreuth, since January 2013, and works as a freelance translator specializing in English, German, and Italian texts. Prior research experience includes roles as a Post Doctoral Research Assistant at the John Innes Centre and as a Project Scientist at the Institute of Food Research, where Margherita focused on glycan-binding proteins and bacterial adhesion using SPR spectroscopy. Margherita holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of East Anglia, specializing in carbohydrates and biomolecular recognition, along with a degree in Chemistry from Università degli Studi di Sassari.
