Conrad Simpson

Conrad Simpson has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Conrad is currently working as a Cyber Security Consultancy Director at Cybit since 2022. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2022, they served as the Director and Co-Founder at Cyphra.

Before joining Cyphra, Conrad worked as a Director at IA Risk Services from 2011 to 2012. Conrad also held the position of Head of Information Security Services at Sopra Group UK from 2007 to 2011. Previous to that, Conrad worked as the Head of Information Security Services at Sopra Newell & Budge from 2005 to 2007.

Conrad's managerial skills were honed during their tenure as the Managing Director of Newell & Budge Security from 2003 to 2005 and as the Managing Director/Co-Founder at Celare from 2000 to 2003.

Conrad'sprofessional journey started as a Product Manager for Internet Services at Nevada Tele.com from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, Conrad worked as a Technical Manager at Creative Online Media from 1995 to 1999 and as a Senior Technical Specialist at CMI Ltd from 1992 to 1995.

Conrad Simpson attended Bangor Grammar School from 1974 to 1980. During this period, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. From 1981 to 1983, they continued their education at Norwich City College, where they focused on Computer Studies and obtained a degree in the same field.

In terms of additional certifications, Conrad became a Founding Member and Full Member (MCIIS) of the Chartered Institute of Information Security in July 2021. Conrad also obtained the Lead Certified Cyber Professional (LCCP) certification from the same institution in the same month and year. However, it is not specified when or if they obtained the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from the ISACA or the Full Member credential (MBCS) from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
