Al Rao

Dr. Rao has been with the IT industry for over 40 years. He was the COO, CTO and a founding member of Wipro and played a critical role in the transformation of Wipro from a start-up to a multibillion-dollar global technology giant. Dr. Rao’s key contributions include building of technology practices, growing Telecom & Technology Services business to over a billion, and enhancing Wipro’s presence in Japan and China. He was instrumental in Wipro achieving the highest SEI CMM Level 5 quality certification – the first in the world for IT services. As a past CTO, COO and experience in scaling a startup, Dr. Rao brings tremendous insight and value to CyborgIntell’s board.
