Arshad Zameer has a diverse work experience spanning various tech companies. Arshad began their career in 2012 as an IT Support Executive at Eureka Technology Partners, where they managed critical Windows-based server environments and provided IT support. In 2014, they joined BoardPAC as a Support Engineer, resolving technical issues and leading customer reviews. Arshad then advanced to the role of Support & Deployment Engineer, where they implemented software products and performed database administration tasks.
In 2019, Arshad joined LSEG Technology as an Implementation Engineer, collaborating with internal and external teams for product implementation and providing customer support. Arshad later took on the responsibilities of Associate Lead DevOps Engineer, formulating migration strategies and deploying product updates. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, they automated cloud infrastructure and non-functional testing.
In 2022, Arshad worked at Sysco LABS Sri Lanka as an Associate Technical Lead - Cloud Engineer. Arshad designed and developed reusable components, implemented tools and processes for infrastructure creation and proactive monitoring, and managed requests for new technologies and resources.
Currently, Arshad is working at Cybus as a DevOps Engineer, contributing to the company's operations.
Arshad Zameer obtained a BCS HEQ PGD in IT (UK BSc (Hons) equivalent) from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, where they studied Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from 2011 to 2014. In 2017, they attended Kingston University and completed an MSc in Networking & Information Security in 2018. Additionally, Arshad has obtained several certifications, including DevOps Foundations from LinkedIn in April 2021, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020, IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from PeopleCert in October 2019, and Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) from Red Hat in September 2019.
