Patrick Nee

Co-Founder, Strategic Partnerships at Cyclic Materials

Patrick Nee has held various roles throughout their work experience. Patrick is currently the Co-Founder of Strategic Partnerships at Cyclic Materials since November 2021. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2021, they served as the Founding CTO of Careapt, S.r.l., where they developed telemedicine services for chronic illnesses and implemented advanced analytics. Before that, from 2017 to 2021, Patrick was the CEO of DataStrata.io, where they focused on creating infrastructure data tools for large enterprises. Additionally, from 2011 to 2019, they founded and served as the CEO of Universal Bio Mining, LLC, a biotechnology company. Patrick has also worked as a Strategic Consultant for a confidential client from 2015 to 2016, and as a Visiting Lecturer at Thammasat University from 2007 to 2015. In their earlier career, they founded and served as the CEO of yappr.com in 2007, as well as the CIO of Walker Digital Management from 2005 to 2007. Patrick also founded and served as the President of ETS from 2002 to 2005, and as the CTO of BenefitPort, LLC from 2000 to 2002.

Patrick Nee has a strong educational background in mechanical engineering. Patrick attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (SB) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at the Tokyo Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1992, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Later on, in 2001 and 2002, Patrick attended the Columbia Business School to expand their knowledge in business administration. Patrick completed a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree during their time there.

In addition to their formal education, Patrick Nee has also obtained a certification in machine learning from Stanford University. Patrick completed this certification course on Coursera in March 2016.
