Mathieu Bruyneel

Mathieu Bruyneel currently serves as the Coördinator sportieve werking at Cycling Vlaanderen since June 2012, leading the sports operation department and providing a range of cycling-related activities for individuals. Additionally, as the Sporttechnisch coördinator recreatiesport, Mathieu has successfully doubled the number of recreational members over nearly a decade. Prior to this role, Mathieu worked at Colruyt Group from December 2006 to May 2012, first as an Eerste Verkoper, overseeing assortment management and staff operations, and then as a Kandidaat Gerant, managing a team of approximately 50 employees. Mathieu holds a Master's degree in Physical Education and Sport Management from Universiteit Gent and a secondary education diploma in Economics-Mathematics from ASO St. Bernarduscollege Oudenaarde.
