David Pattillo

David Pattillo has extensive experience in ontology and knowledge representation, currently serving as an Ontologist at Cycorp since April 2020, where work includes integrating Cyc with generative AI for various fields, including biology and robotics. Previously, David held the role of Deputy Project Manager, successfully designing dialog management software for a humanoid robotics application that became the most profitable project in company history. David also served as an Adjunct Professor of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame from August 2014 to May 2019, teaching popular courses on paradoxes and mental illness. David earned a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame and a BA in Mathematics and Philosophy from Texas A&M University.
