Hodan Barkhad

Hodan Barkhad began their work experience in 2015 as a Sales Specialist at Paperchase. Hodan then worked as a Bakery Assistant at Konditor from September 2017 to February 2018. Following that, they were a Barista at Planet Organic Ltd for a few months. In July 2018, they joined Swatch Ltd. as a Sales Specialist and worked there until July 2021. From October 2019 to July 2021, they also worked as a Carer at The Social Care LTD. In 2021, they transitioned to a role as a Scientist at Cignpost Diagnostics Ltd., where they worked until May 2022. In May 2022, they joined QA Ltd as a Tech Specialist, where they received training in various modules such as Agile Fundamentals, DevOps, and Java. In November 2022, they participated in the AWS re/Start Programme at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where they gained knowledge in IT fundamentals and AWS Cloud. Currently, they are a Junior Cloud Operations Engineer at Cydar Medical.

Hodan Barkhad completed the AWS re/Start Programme in AWS Cloud Practioner at Generation UK & Ireland from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Westminster from 2017 to 2021. In addition to their education, they obtained several certifications, including "How to Crush Self-Doubt and Build Self-Confidence" from LinkedIn in March 2023 and "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2023. Hodan also acquired various certifications related to Agile, Cyber Security, IT Service Management, Scrum, and conflict management from Cloud Academy and a "QA Academy Hackfest – Gold Badge" from QA Ltd in June 2022.
