Forrest Vining

Forrest Vining has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. In 1996, they began their career in the US Navy as a Machinist/Torpedomans Mate 3rd Class, where they were responsible for supervising the shipping and unloading of high explosives, as well as operating and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on high pressure hydraulic, pneumatic and water systems. In 2000, they moved on to Honeywell Bendix Friction Materials Division as an Assembly Processor. In 2001, they became an OPS Park Ranger at St. Andrews State Recreation Area. From 2004 to 2006, they were a Lead Computer Repair Technician/Store Manager at PC Pro of Kailua, where they were responsible for troubleshooting and repairing hardware, software, and Internet problems with desktop and laptop computers. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as a Security Engineer at Secure Enterprise Computing, providing phone, remote, and on-site technical support to small and medium financial, government, medical, and private organizations in regards to System, Network, and Security Administration. Since 2012, they have been a Senior Engineer at Responsive Technology Partners, working with a team of Network Engineers and System Administrators to support small and medium businesses around the South East (VA, NC, GA, and FL). Forrest'smain focus is implementation and migrations of on-prem resources to the cloud, migrations to datacenters, and on-prem infrastructure upgrades/rebuilds. In 2022, they will be joining Cyemptive Technologies Inc. as a Sr. Systems Engineer.

Forrest Vining attended Gulf Coast State College from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Computer Engineering Technology/Technician.
