Daniel John

Daniel John is a seasoned professional in the field of geosciences and environmental management. Currently serving as a Senior Officer at Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru / Natural Resources Wales since August 2023, Daniel has accumulated extensive experience in various roles, including Water Resources Technician at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water and Environmental Consultant at Sirius Group. Earlier positions include Engineering Geologist at Quantum Geotechnical Ltd and Geotechnical Engineering Limited, where responsibilities encompassed supervising fieldwork, managing project estimations, and conducting geoenvironmental inspections. Daniel's career began with Halliburton as a Crew Leader and Data Engineer, followed by a role as a Student Geotechnical Engineer at Atkins. Daniel holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Exploration and Resource Geology from Cardiff University and spent early years as a Lifeguard and Swimming Coach at Celtic Community Leisure.
