Jasmine Sharp

Jasmine Sharp is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in marine and coastal policy, currently serving as the Marine & Coastal Policy & Planning Team Leader at Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru / Natural Resources Wales since May 2016. Responsibilities include providing expert advice to Welsh and UK Governments on legislative and policy matters. Previous roles highlight expertise in marine regulation, policy implementation, and complex permitting for marine development. Academic experience includes post-doctoral research at Bangor University, focusing on the interaction between pathogenic microorganisms and shellfish, as well as initiatives to enhance marine business development. Jasmine holds a PhD in Marine Biology and a B.Sc. in Marine & Freshwater Biology from Aberystwyth University.
