Anindya Roy has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of data science and technology. Anindya is currently working as the Chief Data Scientist at CyGlass, where they utilize their expertise to drive data-driven strategies and decision-making. Prior to this, they served as the Leader and Principal Data Scientist at a Stealth Startup which was subsequently acquired by Nominet. Here, they played a key role in leading data science initiatives.

Before joining the startup, Anindya worked at Seceon Inc. as a Leader and Principal Data Scientist, where they were responsible for real-time threat detection, IoT security, and DDOS defense, among other areas. Anindya employed technologies such as Spark Streaming, DataFrames, and RDD for horizontal scaling and implemented the Lambda Architecture for batch execution. In terms of the big-data stack, they used Elastic Search, Cassandra, and Kafka.

Anindya's prior experience includes working at Nokia as a Product Line Manager for IP Routing Hardware Product Development, specifically overseeing the 7705 HW Product Line. Anindya also worked as a Principal Consulting Engineer at Nokia, providing technical expertise and support in various projects.

Earlier in their career, Anindya worked at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs innovations as an Embedded Software Developer, where they focused on low-level BSP development, device drivers, and custom bootloader/uboot in C, C++, and assembly for Power PC. Anindya later took on the role of Senior System Software Engineer at the same company, leading the design and requirements for packet forwarding and traffic engineering.

Anindya began their career at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs innovations as a Member of Technical Staff, contributing to product development in the areas of signaling protocols, ATM, IP, MPLS, and traffic engineering algorithms. Anindya was involved in various aspects such as statistical models, connection admission control, packet queuing, scheduling, and data path optimization.

Prior to joining Lucent Technologies, Anindya worked at Digital Technology as a Software Engineer, contributing to software development projects before the company was acquired by Agilent Technologies.

Overall, Anindya Roy has demonstrated a strong background in data science, software engineering, and technical leadership across multiple industries and organizations.

Anindya Roy completed a certification program in HBX Core at Harvard Business School in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained an M.S degree in Computer Science from Boston University in 2003. Anindya also holds a B.E degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Gogte Institute of Technology, which they completed in 1998. Anindya Roy attended South Point High School in Kolkata for their secondary education. Anindya further pursued their passion for mathematics by studying at St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) in Kolkata.
