Other notable positions in Milin's career include being a Selected Candidate for the CIO position for India Operation at Astegic Inc in 2007, and working as a Senior Tech Lead / Architect at Everest Business Solutions, USA from February 2001 to June 2004. At Everest Business Solutions, Milin created an Online Sales Tracking System that resulted in significant cost savings for the company.

Milin's career began in 1999 as an IT Exec at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, where they were part of the core Business Reengineering Process (BRP) team that implemented an ERP (SAP) system. Milin excelled in the SAP MM field and played a key role in its implementation at Cadila Pharmaceuticals.

Milin Dholakia completed their education at various institutions. In 1993, they obtained a BTech degree in Computer Science from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Following this, from 1994 to 1998, they pursued Project Management in IT at the University of Management and Technology. Recently, in 2022 and 2023, they attended XLRI Jamshedpur for The CXO Programme - Driving Growth, with a focus on Strategic Management. Additionally, Milin has also undertaken studies in Product Management & Marketing at the Institute of Product Leadership.
