Francois Legault

Francois Legault currently serves as the VP of Geosciences at Cygnet Energy Ltd., a position held since October 2021. Previously, Legault was the Chief Operating Officer at Modern Resources Inc. from December 2012 to November 2020, where responsibilities also included serving as VP of Geosciences. Additional experience includes managing exploration at Central European Petroleum and working as a Senior Geologist at Vermilion Energy, as well as holding various roles at Talisman Energy, including Team Lead for the Northern Alberta Foothills. Legault began a career in geology at Petrel Robertson Consulting Ltd. after earning both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from McGill University.
