Yuen-Tsing Ooi

Yuen-Tsing Ooi has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. They started their career as a Software Intern at Cerner Corporation in 2005. They then joined Informatica as a Principal Software Engineer in 2006, where they worked on developing a web application product and also mentored junior team members. In 2015, they moved to Cyence as an Application Developer, where they gained experience in full-stack development and worked on various areas including infrastructure, security, and automation. Cyence was later acquired by Guidewire Software, where Yuen-Tsing continued as a Lead Software Engineer from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they developed enterprise applications based on cyber-security analytics and mentored the application team. Their most recent position is as a Senior Software Engineer at Qualia, where they have been working since 2020. Yuen-Tsing's current role involves developing software and utilizing their senior-level expertise. They have recently joined Cygnvs Inc. as a Software Engineer, further expanding their experience in the software engineering field.

Yuen-Tsing Ooi pursued their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2002 to 2006. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in the same field of study.
