Cymru Quarry Group is one of Wales’ largest independent suppliers of aggregates as well as being a major civil engineering company. Situated in South West Wales, we own seven granite, limestone and sandstone quarries, three asphalt plants and eight concrete plants.

The business operates two divisions:

1. Construction Materials, which supplies aggregates, rock armour, readymix concrete, liquid screed and asphalt.
2. Construction Services, which include civil engineering, road construction and resurfacing, sea defence projects and earthworks. The civil engineering division delivers significant infrastructure projects throughout Wales.

Originally established as a small haulage and plant hire operator in 1977, Cymru Quarry Group has continually invested in our local workforce and where possible work with local suppliers in the region. In 2020 we became part of SigmaRoc, a specialist quarrying group who invest in high quality quarries throughout Europe to extract low and high grade materials for use in construction, agriculture, environmental and industrial applications. Cymru Quarry Group is the cornerstone for SigmaRoc’s Welsh platform.

Our name is held in high regard and we are respected for the high quality of our products and services. Our vision is to continue to retain and further develop our customer base and to be the supplier of choice in our areas of operation. We acknowledge that customers who have a positive experience working with us will determine this goal. We will continue to strive for product and service improvements. We aim to add to the quality, process and environmental accreditations we have already received.

We are accredited by the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Quality and Environmental Management Standards.
