Quentin ARNAUD is a data scientist with a strong background in computer vision and particle physics. Currently employed at Cynapps.ai since October 2022, Quentin leads projects focused on developing algorithms for piece detection and motion tracking/classification for augmented reality applications in intelligent packaging and assembly stations. From April 2019 to April 2021, Quentin served as a principal investigator at the Institut de Physique des 2 Infinis, contributing to the SELENDIS research project, which involved designing new particle detector technologies for dark matter. Prior to that, from February 2016 to December 2018, Quentin was a researcher at Queen's University, responsible for data analysis of the NEWS-G experiment, utilizing supervised learning for signal-to-noise optimization and applying profile maximum likelihood analysis for energy spectra. Quentin holds a Doctorate in Particle Physics from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, obtained in November 2015.
