Amichai Shulman

Advisor at Cynerio

Amichai Shulman is an advisor at Cynerio and a founding investor and board director at Panorays. Amichai has also served as an adjunct teacher at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they taught the basic information security course.

Shulman began their career in cyber security with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), where they served as head of the cyber security section for 7 years and 9 months. Amichai then co-founded eDvice Security Services, where they served as CTO for 2 years and 4 months. In 2006, they co-founded Imperva, where they served as CTO for 15 years and 9 months.

Shulman has also served as an advisor to Worklight, a mobile application development platform acquired by IBM in 2012. Amichai is currently an advisor to Cynerio, a cyber security startup, and a founding investor and board director at Panorays.

Amichai Shulman holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they researched the domain of Digital Cash under the supervision of Prof. Eli Biham. Theirfinal thesis, called "User Defined Divisability of Ecash and a Practical Implementation," suggested a new method for implementing anonymous electronic cash that can be used in a flexible way. Amichai also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
