Dario Benitez

Dario Benitez has a diverse work experience in various fields. Dario started their career as an Intelligence Analyst in the US Army from 2011 to 2016. Dario then moved on to work as an Intelligence Analyst at Alion Science and Technology from November 2018 to December 2019. In 2022, they became a Strategic Analyst at Cyntel Technologies, LLC. Currently, they hold the position of SOC Analyst at the SANS Internet Storm Center since January 2023.

Dario Benitez has a strong educational background in the field of Cyber Security and Computer Science. Dario obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security from the SANS Technology Institute in 2022, and another Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina Aiken, which they completed in 2022 as well. Prior to these degrees, Dario earned an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Hopkinsville Community College in 2016.

In addition to their academic achievements, Dario has also obtained several certifications in the field of Cyber Security. Dario is a GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), which they obtained in September 2022. Dario also holds certifications such as the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), earned in March 2022, the GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF), earned in January 2022, and the GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT), completed in November 2021. These certifications demonstrate Dario's commitment to expanding their knowledge and expertise in the field of Cyber Security.
