Alex Vertlieb

Alex Vertlieb has over 9 years of work experience, starting in 2012 with a role as a Web Developer at Sodexo. Their experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at The Research Foundation for SUNY in 2012, followed by a Software Engineer role at CUBRC between 2013 and 2016. From 2016 to 2021, Alex worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Phoenix Operations Group, before joining CyOne as a Senior Software Engineering in December 2021.

Alex Vertlieb completed a Master of Science/Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their degree, Alex obtained a Data-Intensive Computing Certificate from The State University of New York in May 2013, an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in December 2019, and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in May 2018.
