Matthew Crosby

Matthew Crosby has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, with their most recent role being as the Senior Director of Policy & Strategy at Cypress Creek Renewables starting in 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Ørsted (formerly Coronal Energy) from 2016 to 2021, where they held the position of Director of Policy and Regulatory Affairs. In this role, they were responsible for advancing over 2.5 GW of utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects in various markets. Before Ørsted, Matthew worked at Rocky Mountain Institute as a Manager from 2014 to 2016, at Pecan Street Inc. as a Research Division Manager from 2013 to 2014, at Austin Energy as a Program Manager from 2011 to 2013, and at California Public Utilities Commission as the Lead Analyst for Alternative-fuels vehicle proceeding R. 09-08-009 from 2008 to 2011. In this role, they were the primary author of a white paper that launched the Alternative-fuels Vehicle Proceeding and managed the development of staff analyses for Commission decision makers.
