Michael Discenza

Michael Discenza currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Cypress Creek Renewables, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Michael held various leadership positions at Transurban from September 2016 to November 2023, including President (Acting), North America, where oversight included strategic planning, development, and financial operations of toll road businesses across the U.S., as well as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), North America, during which successful negotiations led to the sale of a 50% ownership stake. Earlier in the career, Michael served as Chief Financial Officer for GGE Investments Management LLC, overseeing investments in directional drilling and wireless electric vehicle charging sectors, and GeoGlobal Energy LLC, where a global investment fund focused on geothermal power projects was established. Additional experience includes leading as Chief Executive Officer at H2Gen Innovations, Inc., and earlier financial leadership roles. Michael holds an MBA in International Business & Finance from Emory University - Goizueta Business School and a BA in Economics from Colgate University.
