Sam Ridgway is an experienced educator and ski instructor, currently serving as the Founder and Director of Learn & Experience since August 2009, a program aimed at providing opportunities for young people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. In addition to this leadership role, Sam has been involved with Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports as a ski instructor since December 2023 and has been instructing part-time at Cypress Mountain since January 2019, focusing on beginner adult skiers. Prior experience includes teaching History and Geography at Forres Sandle Manor School and completing a Graduate Trainee position at Marlborough College, which included various teaching and coaching responsibilities. Sam holds a BA in History from The Open University and has studied at Cardiff University.
