Miyonah Whitaker

Miyonah Whitaker is a dedicated healthcare professional currently serving as a Student Intern at Care Share Health Alliance since January 2024 and as a Certified Nursing Assistant at The Cypress of Charlotte since July 2023. Miyonah assists residents with daily activities and fosters meaningful connections through empathy and support. Additionally, Miyonah has been a Piedmont AHEC Scholar since August 2022, where participation involves shadowing healthcare professionals and engaging in seminars on healthcare advocacy and equality. Previously, Miyonah interned with the PATCH Program at Atrium Health from February 2017 to May 2019, focused on providing career opportunities in healthcare for students from underserved communities. Miyonah is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education, with a major in Public Health and a Pre-Nursing Track, at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, expected to graduate in May 2024.
