Wendy J.

Wendy J. is an experienced registered nurse with a background in staff development and admissions nursing. Currently serving as an RN in staff development at The Cypress of Charlotte since June 2022, Wendy previously worked as an admissions nurse at Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region from October 2014 to May 2022, performing eligibility assessments and providing hospice service overviews. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as a registered nurse focused on vaccine administration at StarMed Healthcare in April to June 2021, and providing nursing care in outpatient endocrinology at Carolinas HealthCare System Mecklenburg Medical Group from September 2012 to October 2014. Prior experience also includes working as an emergency room RN at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center from April 2011 to September 2012, where Wendy was responsible for assessing and treating patients with acute and chronic conditions. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology - Social Work from Western Illinois University and is currently pursuing a nursing degree at Queens University of Charlotte Presbyterian School of Nursing.
