Benedict Boos began their work experience in 2013 as a Student Teaching Assistant at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics. Benedict then worked as an Internship Trainee at KPMG Luxembourg from September 2015 to May 2016, where they supported the Corporate & Industry Audit Department in various audit engagement procedures. In February 2015, Benedict also worked as a Tutor at Success Formula Maastricht. Additionally, they served as a Student Consultant at Maastricht Student Consulting from February to May 2015, where they conducted a strategy and marketing project to help a local business increase their market share. In 2017, Benedict co-founded Cyreen GmbH.
Benedict Boos, CMA, has a strong education background in accounting and financial management. In 2017, they obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Institute of Management Accountants. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2017, Benedict pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting & Financial Management from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
Before their master's degree, Benedict completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Business with a major in Accounting from the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics between 2012 and 2015. During their studies, they also participated in an exchange semester at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University in 2014 to gain exposure to international business.
In 2011, Benedict started their higher education journey at the University of Münster, where they studied business administration before changing to the School of Business and Economics at Maastricht University the following year.
Benedict's strong foundation in education began with their high school diploma (Abitur) from Max-Ernst Gymnasium in Brühl, obtained between 2001 and 2010. Additionally, Benedict gained international experience during their education by attending Innova Junior College in Singapore for an exchange year in 2007-2008.
In addition to their educational achievements, Benedict obtained the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) certification in October 2018 from the institution Certified Management Accountant: CMA®.
