Sophie Bell

Sophie Bell is an accomplished fundraising professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as Fundraising Manager and previously as Fundraising Coordinator at Cyrenians since February 2021, Sophie has also held various positions including Trustee at Hostelling Scotland since October 2018, Fundraising Officer at Link Education International from February 2020 to February 2021, and Community Fundraising and Engagement Assistant at Mercy Corps from February 2019 to February 2020. Earlier roles include Fundraising Finances Administrator at Children 1st and Research and Editorial Assistant at SCVO. Sophie's foundational experience began at Edinburgh University Students'​ Association, where roles included Retail Team Leader and Retail Team Member. Sophie holds a Master of Arts degree in Linguistics and English Language from The University of Edinburgh, completed in 2018.
