John Nelson

John Nelson is an experienced technology professional with a career spanning several roles in systems engineering and administration. Currently serving as Manager of Systems Engineering and Implementation at CyrusOne since May 2007, John oversees the Systems Engineering team, focusing on performance appraisal, project management, and customer communication. Prior roles include Platform Engineer and Virtualization Specialist at CyrusOne, where John designed and implemented cloud computing solutions and disaster recovery plans. Previous experience includes positions at Paige Technologies, MedAvant Healthcare Solutions, and Verizon Communications, where John supported Windows servers, managed teams, and developed disaster recovery strategies. John holds a high school diploma from Trinity Pawling School and attended SUNY Orange.
