Matthieu Legré

Matthieu Legré has a diverse work experience in the fields of quantum communication technologies and scientific knowledge sharing. Matthieu is currently serving as the Vice President of Products at CYSEC since November 2021. Prior to that, Matthieu worked at ID Quantique from 2007 to 2021, where they held multiple roles including Standardization & Scientific Knowledge Sharing Manager, Principal Scientist, and R&D Senior Optical Engineer and IP Manager. In their role at ID Quantique, they were involved in the development of various products related to quantum sensing and cryptography, served as a project manager and technical expert, and had customer and supplier facing responsibilities. Before joining ID Quantique, Matthieu worked at the University of Geneva as a Post Doctorate and leader of the instrumentation and metrology group, as well as a PhD student.

Matthieu Legré's education history began in 1997 when they attended the Institut d'Optique Graduate School, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering and Optics. Matthieu completed their studies there in the year 2000. Following this, Matthieu went on to the University of Geneva in 2000 and continued their academic journey until 2004. During this time, they focused on their doctoral studies and earned a Doctor of Physics - PhD. degree. Their research at the university was primarily centered on experimental research on optical fiber metrology and quantum optics.
