Kostas Koumis

Kostas Koumis currently serves as the Deputy Minister of Tourism for the Republic Of Cyprus since March 2023. With a diverse career in both the public and private sectors, Koumis has held the position of Executive member of the Cyprus Public Service Commission since July 2021 and Business Development Manager at Karma Developers since November 2016. Additionally, Koumis is the Vice Chairman of both CYTA and the Cyprus Tourism Organization, where responsibilities include fostering economic development in tourism. Previous roles include Director of Marketing and Communication at the Famagusta Chamber of Commerce and Industry and College Director at Atlantis College. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Finance from Coventry University and two Master's degrees in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Nicosia.
