Philippe Busque

Philippe Busque, Ph.D., currently serves as Senior Vice-President of Global Sales & Services and General Manager at Cytek Biosciences since March 2023. Prior to this role, Philippe held the position of General Manager for Diabetes Care in Canada at Abbott between September 2021 and March 2023. Philippe also served as General Manager for Surgical Vision at Johnson & Johnson and at Abbott from February 2017 to September 2021 and November 2015 to February 2017, respectively. Earlier experience includes the role of Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at Sony Biotechnology Inc. from December 2012 to November 2015 and a lengthy tenure at BD from January 1998 to December 2012, where multiple leadership positions were held, including Vice President of Sales & Service for the Biosciences unit. Philippe earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology, a Master's degree in Microbiology, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology, all from Université de Montréal.
