Edgardo Montoya

Edgardo Montoya has a diverse work experience in various roles. Edgardo started working as an Assistant Manager at Cosi in October 2017, where they resolved technical problems with LAN, WAN, and other systems, provided technical assistance, and supported computer systems and hardware. Edgardo also played a key role in hiring, training, and developing new employees.

In March 2020, Edgardo worked as an Operation Supervisor in Nutrition at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Their responsibilities included supervising and training employees, analyzing and reporting on performance, and efficiently coaching and monitoring indoor performance in the department.

Starting in July 2020, they joined Mass General Brigham as a Network Technician, providing network and desktop support to over 1000 employees at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Edgardo identified and resolved issues to minimize business disruptions, provided on-site assistance using the ServiceNow ticketing system, and resolved technical issues related to operating systems, hardware, software, network connectivity, printers, and Office365.

Currently, Edgardo is working at Cytel as a Desktop Engineer. Edgardo started in August 2022 and their roles include configuring, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting computer workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Edgardo is also responsible for device management in Intune and accounts in Azure AD, as well as performing cloud administration tasks in areas such as user/group administration, security permissions, and group policies.

Edgardo Montoya holds a Master's degree in Informatics from Northeastern University, which they attained from 2022 to 2024. Edgardo also possesses a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Northeastern University, although the specific time of completion is not provided. Prior to obtaining their Bachelor's degree, Edgardo earned an Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems from North Shore Community College, though the dates of attendance are also unspecified.
