Grammati Sarri

Executive Research Principal at Cytel

Grammati Sarri has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Starting from their most recent role, they have been serving as the Head of RWAA Scientific Affairs at Cytel since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of RWAA External Research Partnerships/Senior Research Principal at the same company from May 2022 to May 2023. They also worked as a Visiting Lead Scientist at Cytel from November 2021 to May 2022.

Before joining Cytel, Sarri was employed as the RWE Strategy Lead at Visible Analytics from September 2020 to November 2021.

From 2016 to 2020, Sarri worked at Evidera, starting as a Research Scientist from February 2016 to February 2018, and later transitioning to the role of Senior Research Scientist from March 2018 to September 2020.

Prior to Evidera, Sarri held the position of Senior Research Fellow/NICE Guideline Lead at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists | RCOG from October 2014 to February 2016.

In 2015, Sarri was invited as a speaker and adviser on developing national health guidelines in Greece by The Athens Medical Society. They presented the experience of the National Institute of Health and Social Care Excellence (NICE) and facilitated discussions on the initial planning of a similar organization.

From 2010 to 2014, Sarri worked as a Senior Research Fellow/NICE Clinical Guidelines at the Royal College of Physicians. Their responsibilities included providing methodological and technical leadership in the development of NICE Guidelines for various adult topics.

In 2014, Sarri was invited by the World Health Organization (WHO) to serve as a Senior Research Fellow Expert on Guideline Development of Hep B. They provided expert advice on systematic reviews and network-meta-analysis (NMA) for the NICE Guideline Development and developed evidence synthesis reports for integration into the WHO HBV report.

Earlier in their career, Sarri worked as a Research and Statistical Advisor at the Institute of Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London from June 2005 to July 2008. They also served as a Dental Officer (P/T) at Tower Hamlets PCT-Community Dental Services from June 2005 to June 2008, focusing on oral health promotion and dental screening.

Lastly, Sarri worked as an Associate NHS Dentist (P/T) at an NHS Dental Practice in 2004.

Grammati Sarri obtained a diploma of Dental Surgery (DiDS) in Dentistry from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon in 2002. Grammati then pursued a Master's degree in Dental Public Health at Queen Mary University of London from 2003 to 2004. Later, they enrolled at UCL, where they completed their PhD in Oral Epidemiology from 2004 to 2009.
