Lara Taylor Kester

Lara Taylor Kester, LMFT, is a licensed therapist currently affiliated with Cyti Psychological since March 2023 and serves as a board member for Geek Therapy since January 2021. Previously, Kester held the roles of clinical lead and mental health therapist at Foresight Mental Health from April 2019 to March 2023. Kester's extensive experience in the mental health field also includes positions such as case supervisor, lead therapeutic behavior specialist, and residential counselor at La Cheim School, Inc. from April 2009 to August 2019. Early career involvement includes various leadership roles at YMCA Camp Loma Mar from June 2001 to December 2010. Kester holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Holy Names University (2012-2015) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Francisco State University (2004-2006).
