David Ward, PhD, is a technical leader with a PhD in Chemistry and a strong background in bioprocessing and automation. Currently serving as the Field Technical Lead for Bioprocess at Cytiva since 2021, David has previously worked as a Robotics Engineer at Labman Automation and as an LCMS Field Service Engineer at Shimadzu UK Limited. David completed an MSci in Chemistry at the University of Glasgow, where they also earned their PhD, recognized with the Alfred Bader prize for excellence in organic chemistry. In addition, they gained valuable experience during an MSci placement year at Leiden University.
