Dr Ernest Asilonu

Dr. Ernest Asilonu is a highly experienced scientist specializing in bioprocessing research and development, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Cytiva since June 2021. Dr. Asilonu's previous roles include Fermentation and Production Manager at Protak Scientific Limited, Senior Scientist in Technical Operations at Sekisui Diagnostics, and Lead Fermentation Scientist at Genzyme, where expertise was developed in microbial process development, fermentation, and purification. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Westminster and a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Port Harcourt. Dr. Asilonu has also contributed to academia as a temporary lecturer and supervisor at the University of Westminster, and has experience in corrosion engineering and science education.
