Jon Cezar is an experienced Field Services Engineer with over two decades in the biotechnology and healthcare industries. Currently serving as a Field Services Engineer III at Cytiva (formerly GE Life Sciences) since April 2020, Jon has expertise in the installation, commissioning, repairs, preventive maintenance, modifications, software upgrades, and qualifications of large-scale GMP production bioprocess and filtration chromatography systems, as well as cell therapy and cultivation systems. Prior to Cytiva, Jon spent 16 years at GE Healthcare as a Field Service Engineer III, focusing on similar responsibilities in bioprocess and chromatography systems. Jon’s career began at Amersham Biosciences as a Field Instrument Specialist. Jon holds an Associate of Science degree in Industrial Electronics Technology from the Community College of the Air Force and is a graduate of Lane Technical High School in Chicago, Illinois.
