Michelle Olson Peabody has a strong background in research and development in the bioprocessing and viral vector industries. Michelle started their career as a Semiconductor Engineering Co-op at BAE Systems in 2009. Michelle went on to work as a Bioprocess Engineering Co-op at Sanofi Genzyme in 2010 and as an R&D Engineer Co-op at Arsenal Medical in 2011. Michelle then pursued their graduate studies at Texas A&M University, serving as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Fellow from 2012 to 2018. After completing their studies, they joined Pall Corporation as a Senior R&D Scientist from 2019 to 2020, and then became a Team Leader in R&D Bioprocessing from 2020 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Team Lead in Viral Vector R&D Upstream Applications at Cytiva.
Michelle Olson Peabody attended Northeastern University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering, with a minor in Biochemical Engineering. Michelle then pursued higher education at Texas A&M University, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Engineering.
