Shannon Young

Shannon Young is a Scientist II specializing in upstream process development services at Cytiva since May 2023, following a five-year tenure at Pall Corporation where roles included Process Development Scientist II and Research and Development Scientist II. At Pall, responsibilities encompassed the scaling up of bioprocesses and the design of bioreactors, with a focus on viral vector production using mammalian cell lines. Early career experiences involved supporting cell culture and bioreactor testing. Shannon holds an MRes in Advanced Biological Science with a focus on Cancer Immunology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Southampton, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from UCL.
