Stephy Thomas Tharakan

Stephy Thomas Tharakan has a diverse work experience in the field of Quality Assurance, R&D, and as a Liaison Officer. Stephy Thomas is currently working as a Quality Assurance Lead at Cytiva since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Biocon Biologics from May 2015 to October 2020, where they held the position of QA - Sr. Executive. Stephy also worked at BHAT BIO-TECH INDIA PVT. LTD. as an R&D - Jr. Scientist from September 2013 to March 2014, where they focused on developing a device for testing Glycated Hemoglobin. Stephy Thomas began their professional career at BIOTECH RENEWABLE ENERGY PVT. LTD. as a Liaison Officer from August 2011 to June 2012.

Stephy Thomas Tharakan completed a BIOCON-KGI Certificate Program from Keck Graduate Institute in 2014-2015. Stephy Thomas then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biotechnology from CMS College of Science and Commerce between 2006 and 2009. In 2020, they attended FICCI-IP Education Centre (IPEC), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry to study Intellectual Property Rights and Pharmaceutical R&D.
