Jose Acevedo

Jose Acevedo has a strong background in supply chain operations and manufacturing. Jose is currently serving as the Head of Supply Chain Operations at CytoImmune Therapeutics since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Stryker as a Senior Supply Chain Manager from March 2019 to May 2021 and as a Supply Chain Manager from October 2017 to March 2019. Jose also has experience at Abbott, where they held the position of Senior Manufacturing from January 2017 to October 2017. Before that, they worked at AbbVie as a Manufacturing Manager, where they managed a multidisciplinary staff and implemented lean manufacturing and human error reduction initiatives. Additionally, Jose worked at Abbott for a long duration, serving in various roles such as Logistics & Contract Administrator Manager, Contract Administration & FTZ Manager, and Logistics Trade Professional I & II. Jose also started their career as an Internal Auditor at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico. Jose's experience showcases their expertise in supply chain management, manufacturing operations, and strategic initiatives.

Jose Acevedo has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration - Accounting from Universidad de Puerto Rico. Jose also holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from Inter American University School of Law. In addition to their formal education, Jose has obtained several certifications, including MOS | Microsoft Office Specialist Excel Expert 2013 from Microsoft, Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS, Basics of Supply Chain Management from APICS, Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from ASQ - World Headquarters, and PMP | Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute.
