Sharad Kukreti

Sharad Kukreti has a diverse work experience in various finance roles. Sharad is currently the Head of FP&A and Procurement at CytomX Therapeutics, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2020, they worked at Varian Medical Systems as the Sr. Director Finance, Strategic Planning & Analysis. Before that, from 2011 to 2018, they worked at Genentech, where they held multiple roles including Head of Business Unit Finance (interim), Franchise Head, Commercial Finance, and Associate Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at Genentech as a Sr. Manager, Pipeline and Portfolio Planning. Sharad started their career at Illumina in 2003 as a Sr. Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis and worked there until 2005. Prior to that, they worked at Halliburton from 1997 to 2001 as a Sr. Manager, Process Engineering. Overall, Sharad has a strong background in finance and has gained extensive experience in various leadership positions.

Sharad Kukreti obtained a BTech degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 1988 to 1992. Sharad then pursued further studies at Rice University, where they earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from 1992 to 1997. Afterward, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management from 2001 to 2003, obtaining an MBA degree with a focus on Finance, New Product & Venture Development.

In addition to their formal education, Sharad Kukreti has also obtained several certifications. Sharad acquired a certificate in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in October 2016. In February 2017, they earned a certificate in Data Science in Python, also from Coursera Course Certificates. In May 2017, they completed a course titled "Python for Data Science and Machine Learning" offered by Udemy. Continuing their interest in deep learning, Sharad obtained certificates in "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" and "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" from Coursera in October 2017 and February 2018, respectively.
