Andrew Raitto

Andrew Raitto is a mechanical engineer currently working at Cytonome, focusing on optical subsystems in flow cytometry since June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an athlete for the Craftsbury Green Racing Project, where responsibilities encompassed sustainable farming initiatives, coaching, and designing a diver-assisted suction harvesting system. Raitto has also held positions as equipment manager at Merrimac River Rowing Association, where equipment usage trends were analyzed, and as a mechanical engineer at Sheaumann Laser Inc., where oversight of optoelectronic package development and international collaboration on product design were key responsibilities. Previous internships involved the development of VHF antenna arrays and robotic laser testers, as well as optimizing documentation processes for medical robotics.
