Evgeny Bakin

Evgeny Bakin is a Senior Data Scientist at CytoReason since August 2022, bringing substantial experience in the field of bioinformatics and data science. Previously, Evgeny served as a Lecturer at the Bioinformatics Institute from September 2017 to August 2022, and held the position of Senior Researcher at Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University from February 2019 to April 2022. Additionally, Evgeny worked as a Senior Biostatistician at X7 Research from March 2018 to January 2022, and as an Associate Professor at Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace and Instrumentation from September 2014 to February 2019. The career began as a Research Engineer at the Joint Intel/SUAI research laboratory from January 2008 to September 2014. Evgeny holds multiple engineering degrees from Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace and Instrumentation, earned between 2002 and 2010, as well as a qualification from the Bioinformatics Institute acquired in 2017.
