Lisa Gfrerer

Lisa Gfrerer has a strong background in plastic surgery and medical research. Lisa is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Plastic Surgeon at Harvard Medical School, starting in June 2015. In addition, Lisa has experience as a Consultant in the medical field at Cytrellis Biosystems, Inc. starting in February 2015. Lisa also held the position of Director of Migraine Surgery Research at Massachusetts General Hospital from May 2013. Lisa also served as a Cannon Postdoctoral Fellow at Austen Plastic Surgery Innovation Group, MGH from June 2014 to June 2015. Before that, they were a PhD Candidate at Harvard Medical School from October 2011 to December 2014.

Lisa Gfrerer completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Public Health from the University of Vienna between 2006 and 2012. Prior to that, they pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the Medical University of Vienna from 2005 to 2011.
